Our roots
A quiet plant, made loud with care.

If you told me a few years ago that I would start a wellness brand centered around premium Korean mugwort, I probably wouldn't have believed you.
I would have told you that traditional tea rituals were for a completely different generation. Too slow, too rigid, and maybe a bit intimidating for modern life. Mugwort (or sook, as Koreans call it) was just that earthy, bitter plant our grandmothers talked about. There's no way it could be exciting, or modern, or a daily luxury you actually crave.
Then, one day, living between cultures and tired from the hyper-fast lifestyle, it hit me. The problem wasn't the tradition itself. It was that no one was building a bridge between that slow, ancient heritage and our loud, modern world. Especially as a TCK (third culture kid), I was always craving an anchor, a physical boundary to protect my peace in this hectic world.
So, I got to work. I sourced 100% pure, wild mugwort from Korea to see if I could create a caffeine-free ritual that actually grounds you deeper than anything ever could. Then, I asked my 30-year veteran Hanbok master aunt to see if she would help me hand-stitch premium Saekdong silk mats, refusing mass production in favor of meticulous, slow craftsmanship.
It took months of testing, translating across cultures, and sketching out the little traveler bear named Gom to bring it all to life. But I ended up with a ritual that changed everything I thought I knew about slowing down.
Welcome to your home,
Casa de Gom
